CLUTCH REPAIRS

The most common problem with clutches is that the friction material on the disc wears out. The friction material on a clutch disc is very similar to the friction material on the pads of a disc brake or the shoes of a drum brake -- after a while, it wears away.  Our shop is fully equipped to perform the necessary repairs to leave your clutch ready for another 80000 miles.

BRAKE REPAIRS

Paying attention to sounds, smells and sensations will prevent major brake problems:

Screeching, grinding, squealing, rubbing and other eardrum piercing noises are common indicators that your brake pads & shoes require inspection. This should be addressed before worn pads cause damage to other parts, which could result in more expensive repairs.

◾Vibration and pulsation in the pedal or your steering wheel. Your rotors might get warped from the metal on metal rubbing, potentially costing you a lot more in repair. Stop in as soon as possible if you are experiencing this unpleasant problem.

◾Pressing down farther to complete braking functions. This can be the first stage and sign of brake pad wear which can lead to catastrophic events.

◾That pungent burning smell near your tires  are not normal and could have dangerous consequences if you continue to drive under these unsafe conditions. Your best solution is our brake inspection to see what part of your braking system has been compromised while driving with this smelly symptom.
◾Brake warning light. If your brake warning light comes on visit us as soon as possible.
